position: supplier quality engineer (focus: pre-shipment inspection, factory  ethics audits)
we are seeking a motivated supplier quality engineer to join our team and ensure supplier quality through inspections, audits, and continuous improvement programs. 
you will be responsible for conducting pre-shipment inspections, factory audits, and ethics audits at suppliers, driving supplier quality performance, and supporting our sourcing strategy for the region china.

main responsibilities:
? perform pre-shipment inspections at supplier sites to ensure product compliance.
? conduct regular factory audits and ethics audits (preferably according to sa8000 standard).
? prepare detailed inspection and audit reports and monitor corrective actions.
? support supplier qualification and approval processes through on-site assessments.
? collaborate closely with procurement and cross-functional teams to improve supplier quality.
? develop and implement supplier improvement plans to support continuous improvement.
? attend trade fairs and supplier exhibitions to identify potential new suppliers.

your profile:
? open to all educational backgrounds, bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related fields is preferred but not required.
? minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, preferably with supplier quality audits and inspections.
? experience with ution of ethics audits (sa8000 standard) would be a strong advantage.
? excellent written english skills are required for reporting, spoken english sufficient for internal communication.
? strong communication and problem-solving skills.
? willing and able to travel extensively (approximately 80%).
? proficient in ms excel, word, and powerpoint.
? ability to work independently and with a high sense of responsibility.

compensation  working conditions

? you will be part of an international team, offering career development opportunities and international exposure.
? working location: office in foshan, but 80% travelling in zhejiang province.
? salary: rmb 8.000 – 10.000 month, depending on experience and qualifications.
? benefits package includes the 5 insurances and 1 fund (chinas mandatory social insurance and housing fund system).
? probation period: 1 month (salary adjustment after 6 months).
? annual leave (holiday): 14 working days per year.
? working hours: 40 hours per week, monday to friday (two-day weekend).
